For those who have a special interest in something and would like to meet other people with same interest. Actually we have Special Interest Groups in Latin American aviation, ships, WWII, Formula One, commercial aviation and military vehicles. 

Periodically, we have special meetings where the only topic is technique. There you can find other more experienced modelers showing their techniques in assembling, painting, masking, decaling, weathering, interior detailing, etc. 

Twice a year, we organize model contests where you can participate and show your skills to other people. You can also see other modelers work and can learn from others or teach others about your techniques. In other words, you can make new friends there. You will find many categories and experience is not required to attend.

As a member of IPMS Guayaquil, you can be in first row to see your favorite airplane or military vehicle, talk to a real air force pilot or navy captain. Eventually we have model contests or exhibitions in military bases. Obviously there might be some restrictions.

Do you have extra parts not used in your models? Need assembly instructions for a particular model? Your decal sheet is damaged? We have created a classified ads section in our website for those things you need, want to exchange or just want to give away.

If you do not have an international credit card and can't have access to the many offers and sales from online hobby shops, you can place your order with us, and we get it for you directly from the source. You only have to pay the cost of your order plus shipping. 

All of our members have an important amount of information and references, in the form of books, magazines, pictures, etc. which we offer to you to finalize your project. Send us en e-mail with your request and we will find it if available. You only have to pay for the copies and shipping. 

Our meetings are on every first Tuesday of the month in a previously designated place. In those meetings we discuss all topics related to our hobby, our organization, but on top of everything we simply get together to have some fun among friends and to exchange techniques, anecdotes, opinions, etc.
