 IPMS
stands for International Plastic Modelers Society,
an international organization established in
1963 by British modelers for the benefit of
other modelers around the world, and as an
autonomous institution that promotes plastic
modeling among its members. Originally
created as the British Society of Plastic
Modelers, soon expanded as a true
international organization with many
national and regional chapters all over the
world. Comprises
everything that uses plastic as a base material, from
basic kits to more sophisticated and scratch built
models. |

After the big success accomplished, IPMS
reached the United States of America and
from there spread out to the rst of the
world. Today you can find IPMS organizations
in five continents, multiplied in national,
regional or local chapters but always with
the common objective to put together the
modelers of every corner. |

In this section we have included a
comprehensive amount of IPMS chapters around
the world and some non-IPMS organizations
that deserve to be here for their active
participation in modeling. To
