A letter sent by an attorney under Georgia law to preserve evidence in a truck accident case is very important.  This is because in trucking accident cases more so than other types of personal injury cases, there a tons of recorded information that is mandated to be kept by common carrier companies.  As a georgia accident lawyer, I know that often times evidence is destroyed and the excuse is used by the defendant that the evidence would have been kept if only the defendant knew it was needed for the prosecution of the personal injury case.  To avoid this problem and the loss of critical evidence in your truck accident case, Atlanta truck accident lawyers should always send what is called a spoliation of evidence letter to the insurance company and trucking company immediately upon being retained.

As mentioned, there are numerous items of potential evidence you want to make sure is specifically mentioned to be preserved, including: 1). The tractor-trailer itself; 2). permits of every kind; 3). maintenance records; 4). Inspection records; 5). The driver’s employment file, including specifically his or her driver’s qualification records; 6).  all photographs of the vehicles involved in the accident; 7). any alcohol and drug testing done of the driver after the accident by the company; 8). all data from any and all on-board recording devices; 9). any trip reports, bills of lading, dispatch records, weight tickets involved with the trip being conducted at the time of the accident.

Spoliation of evidence letters is just one of many reasons why it is important to hire an experienced attorney as soon as possible to handle your Georgia truck accident case.  If you would like to talk to an experienced atlanta personal injury attorney at Boling Rice LLC, please call us at (770) 887-3162.

We cannot deny that online advertising can create significant changes not only for new chiropractors but also for the old ones. chiropractic marketing can be the best way to persuade a lot of potential patients that may avail the chiropractor’s products and services. Perhaps, many of us would agree that the success of every chiropractor can be directly seen on how well they publicize their products and services on the market. That’s why choosing for the right kind and style of online advertisements should be done carefully. Credit card debt: If you have experienced this in the past

January 11th, 2012 by admin

help reduce debt

If you have experienced this in the past, but have finally reduced debt and actually got out of this situation think about how you did it. If you are wishing you could reduce debt to zero eventually or for that matter just see some progress, but don’t have any idea how you are going to do this then keep on reading. There is hope. When we were first married we had debt and accrued some additional debt. Then we had a baby and had some major medical bills so we took out a loan and eventually ended up consolidating our debt into one loan. We then had the payment to bank and then kept a couple of the credit cards open for emergencies. Eventually we ended needing to use the credit cards and then a little here and there put us in an additional financial mess. Then we opened up a business and took out additional loans to get the business open. Throughout the business we gradually paid down some of our personal debt, but then when the business closed we had that debt. We decided that we did not want to take out another loan to consolidate all of the debt. We felt like that would not help reduce debt. We felt like that would get us in another downward spiral.Instead we got on the phone with a credit counselor and started looking at our options. We weren’t sure what we were doing and didn’t know if we would really get out of the debt ever in our lifetime.
